Whole Cornish Lobster
Lobsters are normally caught from spring through to late autumn and ‘rested’ in our sea tanks for at least 24-hours before despatch. We only buy lobsters from The South Western Approaches. Live and cooked lobsters are available as well as lobster meat.
Lobsters are freshly cooked to order within our factory. Seasonal supply and demand affect price dramatically so our price list can alter. Please note: all items are sold as approximate and pre-cooked weight, some cook loss will occur.

Buy one, set one free (BOSOF) is an amazing ‘win-win’ collaborative scheme that enables you to help raise and release baby lobsters back into our waters to help sustain fragile stocks. It originally started in restaurants with a small donation going to the NLH on every sale of lobster which enables us to raise and release a baby lobster back into our local waters, in place of those consumed, on the customer’s behalf. This mutually beneficial scheme has been such a success that it has grown and is now being utilised by many wonderful restaurants and fishmongers as well as hotels, food producers, celebrity chefs, artists, jewellery brands, fashion designers and clothing brands and many more! Any aspect of ‘Lobster Love’ makes it possible to come on board with BOSOF and it really is a brilliant, public engaging and ‘feel good’ way to (literally) give back! Find out more here
Cook live lobsters immediately on delivery and eat within three days. Only strong lobsters will be despatched live. However, we cannot guarantee survival and they are sent at the customer’s own risk. Any lobsters that don’t arrive live are still safe to cook and consume. When ordering cooked lobster store at 0-5°C and consume within two days. Use pasteurised products by the use by date and within 2 days of opening. If freezing, please follow your freezer manufacturer’s instructions. All items are sold as approximate and pre-cooked weight, some cook loss will occur.
Weather, tides, seasonality and catch numbers can affect availability.
Five options are available:
500 – 800g Live or Cooked – One Person Main Serving
500 – 800g Cooked & Pasteurised – One Person Main Serving (Vacuum Packed with 28 day shelf life)
800g – 1.1kg Live or Cooked – One to Two Person Main Serving
800g – 1.1kg Cooked & Pasteurised – One to Two Person Main Serving (Vacuum Packed with 28 day shelf life)
1.1 – 1.4kg Live or Cooked – Two Person Main Serving
