Handpicked White Crab Meat
White crab meat is usually sold per 500g/250g in pasteurised form, giving a shelf life of up to four weeks. This is a wonderful way of enjoying the goodness of fresh white crab meat, especially if you don’t have the time to ‘pick your own’. This product has been cooked and handpicked then packaged and vacuum packed. The product is pasteurised to give an extended refrigerator shelf life and date labelled. Every care has been taken to remove all traces of shell, although some small pieces may remain.
We specialise in Cornish handpicked white crab meat and have been doing so for over 65 years. No artificial additives or preservatives; just a little natural rock salt is added in cooking to give the best natural flavour. Once opened, the product must be consumed within two days; but we don’t think you will take that long! This is a stock item and is available all year round. All handpicked and available pasteurised to give a 28-day refrigerator shelf life or fresh with a 5-day refrigerator shelf life.

Juicy tasty crabmeat, who wants to spend time picking their own! Vacuum pack is great. Had crabmeat from elsewhere before finding Harvey’s which wasn’t fully sealed so juices seeped out and all taste was lost.
